How does this artwork represent healthy human aging? (Artwork Description)
“Love, Aging” (9″ x 12″) was made with Strathmore Mixed Media Paper, Micron Pens, Sharpie Pen and Markers, Staedler pencil, Modge Podge Matte Finish. My artwork relates to the theme of healthy aging because it reflected a glimpse of a grandma’s daily routine and doing all the things she loved. It have shown how she dressed on her liking, preparing and cooking her food, organizing and tracking her medications, using her camera, taking care of her cat and most importantly being able to create art at her age. Also, this art piece represented healthy relationships with loved ones. The character made sure to keep up with her family by wearing the phone like a necklace so that she can easily answer to their calls or messages, especially to her grandkids. For me one of the best ways to age happily, is to witness your family and loved ones growing and living life along with you.
