This figurative painting depicts a middle-aged woman who is in the process of accepting her aging body as it is. For most of our younger years, we’ve tried to fit into the ideal body image, by dieting and exercising, wearing clothes that hides flaws. As we get older, we strip away these society pressures, and start to accept who we are as we age.
