The Edwin S.H. Leong Healthy Aging Program and UBC School of Kinesiology launches a Public Lecture Series!

In partnership with the UBC School of Kinesiology, we are proud to announce the launch of our Public Lecture Series! This series features distinguished speakers who present on broad topics in current aging research to share findings with the public community. Our hope is that by sharing evidence and enabling dialogue we will help people live longer, happier lives. This series is also supported through a collaboration with the Providence Health Care Dialogue on Aging Public Presentation Series, to whom we are thankful.

This Public Lecture Series originally began three years ago when Dr. Eli Puterman, an Associate Professor in the School of Kinesiology, received a Killam Connection Award. After a hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are grateful to have the opportunity to co-sponsor this initiative.

These events can be viewed in-person or via Zoom. Scroll through our events calendar to find and register for upcoming public lectures.
