Wilson, Carlee

Carlee Wilson, PhD, RSLP

Dr. Carlee Wilson is a postdoctoral fellow at the Living with Aphasia Lab, School of Audiology and Speech Sciences, University of British Columbia (UBC) working with Dr. Tami Howe. She also works clinically as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). Carlee holds a BSc in Psychology from Algoma University, a MSc in Health and Rehabilitation Sciences from Western University, and a dual MSc-SLP/PhD in Rehabilitation Science from the University of Alberta. Her PhD research focused on understanding how different modalities of speech-language therapy can impact the quality of life of people with aphasia (a communication disorder resulting most often from stroke). 

At UBC Carlee is working with Dr. Howe to explore the engagement of people with aphasia in volunteering activities and how this relates to their confidence and quality of life.
