Shayda Swann

Shayda Swann is a CIHR Vanier Scholar, University of British Columbia Public Scholar, and graduate student in the combined Doctor of Medicine/Doctor of Philosophy (MD/PhD) program. She has a keen interest in HIV, women’s health, and community-collaborative research. Her thesis work focuses on understanding how HIV impacts women’s reproductive and stress hormones, and whether this contributes to comorbidities as women living with HIV age.
