Karlie Edwards

Originally from Washington state, Karlie received her bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from Willamette University. She then moved to California where she worked as a research assistant in the Wang lab at Stanford University.

Her work with infectious diseases peaked her interest in understanding what drives immune system function. Now as a member of the Kobor lab she is interested in learned about how early life exposures, such as malnutrition, alter the epigenome and ultimately impact immune system function.
